Money, money, money!!! I love that one! Last time in Phase 2 we do Chest, Shoulders & Triceps and Christina and I brought it, big time. Goooooodness that one makes ya feel great....and then to throw Ab RipperX in at the end....MONEY! Of course, I can tell you for a fact, that if I had of done that routine 44 days ago, I would have puked my guts out and said "NO WAY" on continuing with this! But...this is a life changer indeed!!!!
It so amazing the results I'm seeing in Christina, she looks sooooo lean and fit right now. I know I don't want to mess with her :-))
Tonigth we're going to have a bit of grilled Orange Roughy...and I think I'll throw it in some low carb corn tortillas and go fish taco!

P90X - Day 43 - Chest, Shoulders, Tri's & Abs!
P90X - Day 42 - X Stretch
Just what my bum needed!!! A good relaxing hour of stretching...man-o-man did my rear need that. Is it just me or does this plan seem to target certain parts and just go after them at random, week after week. My butt hasn't hurt like this in a long time, but for some reason.... Maybe I just pushed a bit harder this week with the legs and buttocks. Oh well....the burn is toasty and after tonight's much needed stretching I'm looking forward to a bit of relief. I sure wish I could stretch out my sinus cavities....gosh this sinus crap has to go...I'm fighting through it and am continuing to work hard through the work outs, but this crap can wear you down big time. I've been trying to slowly/carefully add some carbs in to build a bit of energy as I don't want to over do it....tonight I ate some extra rice so we shall see.
Well....week 3 of phase 2 starts tomorrow. I'm ready to push hard for some much needed results. I'm getting a bit impatient on my belly, but I just keep telling myself, or should say reminding myself, how long it took to air up that spare tire! Can't believe we're almost half way through and we haven't cheated on anything...One opt for a Rest X day other than Stretching and thats it. Good stuff!
P90X - Day 41 - Kenpo X
Kenpo...yes. What a great cardio workout! Tonight, I got a couple shots with 10 inch needles...ouch. Then after resting a bit, hit the Kenpo! For some reason (legs & back)...my BUTT hurt tonight like no other! But, I hit Kenpo as intense as I could.
I'm ready ready ready for Stretch X tomorrow!
Last night's LifeGroup was awesome....we got half way through the planned lesson, but as I teach and the Holy Spirit takes over, there's no way I'm cutting that off. Great discussion on "Pshat" and "Remez"...Next week.."Derasha" and "Sod".....There's a little taste if you choose to research...:-)

P90X - Day 40 - Legs, Back & AB RiPPeR X
Today....Day 40!!! Went home today for lunch and busted out Legs, Back & Abs...still fighting a bit of this rotten illness it made it even more sweaty....amazing how much the body will flush out when your fighting a bug. Pushed pretty hard on the pullups today and was able to get some additional reps out....Abs were good as usual and I'm really feeling them now. Wednesdays are so busy for us as we have to squeeze in this workout along with finalizing preperation to teach our LifeGroup as well as have LifeGroup at our house. But I guess it just makes it all that more exciting to deliver what God has for us each week.
The theme for part of the Scripture Meditation lesson is simply...."Its not about me!!!" Too many times we let SELF get on top in our priorities....kind of like the Pharisees did. Hmmmmm. Even if we serve in the church we must ask or even examine ourselves to see.....Are we doing what gives us our identity or are we doing what God has called us to do to build His Kingdom? If the prior, then we are no different that those who knew the Tora, but only to boast in their knowledge. Where is your heart? God has a plan for all of us, its up to us to pray that we are in that plan and make the right choices as God would have it. How's that for working out?
P90X - Day 39 - NO YOGA!!! - CARDIO-X
OK....I found my new love. I am officially going to now postpone any Yoga X 1 1/2 hour workout until I'm am into day 91 and beyond. Cardio-X from here on out. With my need for burning the spare tire chub, I need the Cardio....and adding another hour per day is out. So CardioX it is! Now with that said, the Cardio X workout does require some effort not shown on the DVD as it is pretty light, but throw your own intensity into it and you will be sweating your ashtanga off!!!! I'm back to enjoying this part of the week!!! The only thing I'm really going to miss is the Xtreme Corpse Pose.
So for all you awesome Yoga X'ers out there, keep doing what you do, but ask yourself this...."Are you ready for a Cardio throwdown?" HA!
If you are a BeachBody Coach....good for you, but please don't advertise on my blog. I'm enjoying the genuine comradery found from those who just want some general encouragement. Thanks for understanding.
P90X Day 38 - Back & Biceps and ABRX
Ohhhhh yeah! That is an awesome workout....although I can barely type because of the tightness in my arms! Back & Biceps and that workout is a "bring it" as it brings it! Only thing is; I am ready to see some additional results. I know there are some cans inside this keg I'm carrying up front, I'm just ready to see them babies pop out of their warm coats of chub.
Anyway...got the awesome Yoooga X tomorrow, so I get to smell my feet and put my own rear in my face....but that corpse will come in to save the day.
Still fighting a bit of dry, sore throat today, but am feeling better.
I think we're having salmon tonight.
Did you know that Jesus only taught in the Literal to the Pharisees but taught in Parables and Alegories to the masses? Isaiah 29:13 The Lord says: "These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is made up only of rules taught by men." Do you think there are those who "know" God today, but who's hearts do not?
P90X - Day 37 - PlyometriX
Wow...wow....wow. So I stayed in bed today instead of church. Christina went and said the message today was awesome as usual....as was our worship service.....Check it out if you want at http://www.tfchurch.org/. We were going to try to bust out Plyo this afternoon, but decided to rest it out a bit longer. Went ahead and got around to go to a Leadership meeting at church this evening and then Pushed Play at about 9:00PM....I'm sooooo glad I waited. I really needed all day to get the rest and liquids I needed. Ate a good Pepper Steak for lunch (see recipe below Day 31 and Superbowl) and ate a couple of corn tortillas to add a few carbs for energy. Plyo seemed to go buy pretty quick....I hope that doesn't mean its getting fun....naaaaaah. Felt great though to get the heart rate up and pour some sweat. I really enjoy the heisman's, but you can have the squat jacks!
Thanks for the prayers....I know without them, I'd still be in bed. God is so great!
So excited to get back to LifeGroup this week...continuing on Scripture Meditation and going to get real deep into the 4 levels of "digging in" used by Rabbi's of Old Hebrew Custom. Good stuff.
Back & Biceps tomorrow....whoohooo!
