Well....another day of Yoga to start the 4th week....today I waited until we got to Reverse Warrior before I jumped in. Spent some time warming up and then got it for that. So about 1:10 for me today...Christina went the whole way from the beginning. I can tell you that the Yoga Ab 7 is really really goooooood.....painful, but good.
I'm really excited to get through this week and get into the next routine.
I still hate Yoga, but its growing on me...
P90X - Day 22 - Yoga X
P90X - Day 21 - X Stretch
Had somewhere to go this evening, so I debated on doing XStretch or Resting today....decided to stretch and glad I did....stretching is so, so important!
1st 3 weeks are over and ready for some serious core work....and very ready to start seeing some serious results.
Meals are still going good, but I sho am hungry!!!

P90X - Day 20 - KENPO X!!!!
Did I ever mention that Kenpo X is saweeeet? It is....what a fun, fun workout. A great way to throw some frustrations to the wind. Or punch! Today was awesome....although I have one jacked up heart rate. From 140 -172 throughout the workout....and YES I was busting butt. I really wish Kenpo X was as long as Yoga....Yes...Beachbody, are you listening?
So the end of the 1st 3 weeks and Saturday we start Core Week....ugh. The unknown.

P90X - Day 19 - Legs/Back & ABS!!!
OK....anyone who thinks this can get easier needs to do the X and Bring It. My Butt is burning today and I'm really feeling my core tightening today. I guess I'm ready for the 1 week break from the norm, but then again, I think it'll be pretty brutal as the schedule calls for YogaX twice next week. Blah....And Core Synergistics. Something new.
Abs went well as always....Christina nailed out 50 Feet Up Mason Twists....(not me ugh). But I am managing 30 Oblique V-ups!!!! Good job us!
This has been such a busy week with Church, Work and P90X, but we're managing to get our food intake in and keeping it strict. What a great energy you get from this whole plan.
Well fun fun tomorrow....Kenpo X. We really enjoy it...I think it was definetly stuck in where it is to look forward to.
P90X - Day 18 - Yoga X
Yoga, yoga....oh how I hate thee....Ha. Today I took a long lunch to come home from work, watch the innauguration and do 1 1/2 hours of Yoga X. Man, I wish that was shorter. It felt great, and I needed more than ever the stretching as my back was still feeling the added weight on the Arms & Shoulder workout. And I sure won't say it gets easier as with the experience comes the ability to do things closer to correct. Some of those positions just kill me though. Oh well....this week is over and next week, week 4 has 2 days of Yoga.....Yeah!!! (sarcastictly)
It has been so amazing the discussions we have on P90X...with those who have it, those who have it now, and even those who just don't know why we are feeling the way we do. I'm feeling great and really looking forward to the change up next week.
I sure wish I'd see some size coming off of that back fat (love handles)...

P90X - Day 17 - Arms/Shoulders & ABS!!!
Wow...got up early this morning and spun a change into the workout. Added weight today, so with that and the early, empty stomach workout, I'm really feeling it. I pushed myself hard today and was able to add 5-10# per routine.
Ab Ripper X today was great....and man-o-man I'm feeling it. My stomach is tiiiiiight. Again, pushed hard and was able to hang a little more than usual. (Even did 30 on the Obliques!!!)...May sound a bit weird, but....I Love Oblique V-Ups!
Yoga tomorrow.....I sure hope I grow to enjoy it.....Christina is really encouraging me not to substitue CardioX, so I will stick with it....cuz I know we have it twice next week.

P90X - Day 16 - PLYOMETRICS
Gosh today sucked. Someone asked me today if P90X gets easier and I told them that I guess it could, but you will get out of it what you put into it. I guess I'm putting a lot into it because I'm hurting today. Another day of Plyo gone and, yes, that makes me happy. It is a great workout and although some of the stuff kills me, some of it I do really enjoy and try to do even some extra.
I'm feeling better about myself now, and starting to see some significant changes in my physique....just not my catfish belly!!! Ha...
Going to change our schedule up for a few days and work out in the morning....we'll see how that goes. We're having our annual Zion services at church at night, so we're going to start our day with a wear out! Really looking forward to a move from God this week as we are also preparing to start teaching our LifeGroup next week.
Life is about to get really busy (er)!!!!
