Week 3 begins and begins with some new burrrrrrn. After consulting my good friend Chris on using the Bands vs Pullups with foot help, he encouraged me to go to the bar....and I did....and it resulted in some brand new burn....(Thanks Chris). Today we really pushed it hard to get the most...and I can tell you, I have not felt that spent in a long long time...Years. The only problem today is that I ran out of weight doing the Heavy Pants and Lawn Mowers, so tonight I had to buy more weight....(dang) Ha.
This week our friends Chris and Amber started P90X and it seems they are loving it...(hopefully as much as we are.) Its pretty cool to be able to share this experience with friends.
Well....another round of Plyometrics tomorrow...Ready...BRING IT!
P90X - Day 15 - Back/Shoulders & ABs!!!
P90X - Day 14 - X Stretch
One word.....Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
1/2 way through the first 1/3...Good stuff. Not much to write...very intense week. Tomorrow I'm ready to step it up and get off the bands and start some Pull Ups....I'm sure it'll be a renewal of the arms, chest & back!

P90X - Day 13 - Kenpo X
What can I say but....Kenpo X is awesome! What a fun way to shed a bunch of calories! All I can say is that if you do something like Kenpo X you can't do it half way....you have to snap the punches, blocks, elbows and kicks....like you're hitting someone it the face. And it'll feel gooooood!!!!
Tomorrow is the end of the 2nd week and its only getting better. Anxious for day 30 to see the progress....I already see enough but won't get satisfied yet!

P90X - Day 12 - Legs, Back & ABS!!
What a great workout! Today I came home from work a bit early as we had a date, so we packed in our full workout and pushed it hard tonight. Really felt it, especially the "Sneeky Lunges" man what a calf burn!
Very proud of my wife tonight as she really pushed it and topped it off with 40 Mason Twists with feet up!!! Score!
I can't believe we're already this far along....
P90X - Day 11 - Yoga X
Well another day gone and today was....well Yoga. I can definetly look back and see how the 1st week was a week of sweating out all of the Ca Ca that was running through this fat body....today was much different as I didn't quite sweat the gallons that I did in Day 4...
I'm starting to see some difference in the sides and back and it is kinda goofy looking, but it is progress.
I'm ready for more.
P90X - Day 10 - Shoulders/Arms and ABS!!!
Well we are now 1/3 of 1/3 of the way through!!! I think Shoulders and Arms is my favorite workout now. Tonight I used weights instead of bands and really could tell a difference. Definetly more concentration where I felt the BURN. What a great workout and with that, I'm really looking forward to the results. Can't wait....but I have to. :-)
The meals are going well....gonna look for some creativity soon though.
All in all...very pleased where I am right now.

P90X - Day 9 - Plyometrics 2
Wow....what a difference a week makes....2nd round of Plyometrics and I guess kinda knowing whats coming helped a ton. Not to say it isn't still the motherlode of cardio (it still burns like no other)....but, after a week, I feel stronger and definetly feel better with my results.
So...if you do P90x and are getting frustrated in the 1st week....well...stick with it. You will improve.
