Its been a while

Well it has been a long time and I need to get myself back on here and do some updating. Nothing fitness related to add to other than goals for 2010. I can't believe that the new year is upon us, but it is and with it comes resolutions. I hope you set resolutions or at least some goals for yourself. Both spiritual and in health. And with that, I am here to help. P90X and Beachbody products have been such a life changer for me and Christina that we just find it hard to believe where we are at sometimes. Its amazing the conversations that we get to have with people who are just trying to get on top of fitness. Awesome!

With that, my goals at the beginning of this year are a bit different. I had shoulder surgery on December 28th so I'm stuck now rehabilitating my shoulder back to where I can hit the workouts harder than ever. My biggest hurdle will be to be patient and fight through the pain of rehab. Please keep me in your prayers as its going to be interesting. But....after that, IT IS ON! I have 2 goals for sure I want to accomplish this year. In no order, I want to do a Sprint Triathlon, consisting of 750M Swim, 20K Bike, and a 5K Run...I'm not a runner, but I'm going to become one. :-) I also want to do the Hotter Than Hell 100 on Aug 28th....it is a 100 Mile Bike Race in Wichita Falls, TX. Those will be done. And who knows, in the back of my mind I have either a 1/2 or full marathon floating in my thoughts too.

Most of all my goals include drawing closer and closer in my walk with God. Christina and I have an awesome church and an awesome LifeGroup that God has grown in our home and I am just excited to see what God has in store for 2010.

May God bless you and your new year.....

Hey dude! sounds like you have made yourself some good, achievable goals (other than the marathon! that's nuts! :o)
I agree with you...Beachbody programs have changed my life. I know it sounds cliche...but really...not only is my attitude and confidence different, I'm HEALTHY and what I do with my time on a daily basis has changed dramatically. (all for the better!)

I also agree...it's time to BRING IT in a spiritual aspect as well. I want to make a goal of spending at LEAST equal time on my inner man as I do on my outer self each day. That's a lot...but if I don't waste hours in front of the tv every night, totally do-able.

Anyway, you guys always inspire me both physically and spiritually and I'm proud to call you friends (and teammates!)

Believing with you for your speedy and full recovery from your shoulder surgery!

Great post Jeremy! Sounds like a goal oriented year!

Ya'll, Jeremy is doing great in his recovery and I know it's due to the Lord above all else but also to the hard work Jeremy put in all last year with P90X & cycling. Being healthy, fit, and flexible has paid off for him tremendously!

Jen... I'm believing this is going to be a jaw-dropping, faith-filled year!! I'm so EXCITED and wish there were a way we could do life together other than just through the internet... but I'll take it! Be blessed my friend :)
